CASSY IN THE MIX – SIMPLY DEVOTION [COCOON]

Il giusto tributo ad una underground producer / dj tra le più originali ed affascinanti di tutta la nuova scena tedesca ( e non solo). Il sound unico di Catherine Britton aka Cassy, sia nelle produzioni a proprio nome che nei caldi dj set proposti, è un organico amalgama di soul, jazzy deep house, strutture technoidi, minimalismi dub, pura house music e vocals di estrazione r’n’b…originalità come appunto si diceva, testimonianza ne è la tracklist del nuovo Cd Cocoon “In The Mix” che vede alternarsi brani firmati Baby Ford, Minimal Man, Trus Me, Kassem Mousse, Taho, Dj Qu, Kezym, Pierre Lx, Inland Knights, Kai Alce, Ralph Falcon ed altri nomi, sicuramente inusuali rispetto alle solite presenze delle dancefloor compilation, e che appunto relegano un lavoro del genere molti gradini al di sopra della media…!!!!
